German fashion designer Erika Hendrix is set to debut her Spring/Summer 2010 collection in February 2010. The collection is inspired from the vintage 1950’s era of rock-n-roll and pin-up girls. This theme is illustrated throughout the collection by the use of bows & ribbons, round collars,cheap ralph lauren polo, poodle skirts, and rompers,Mens ralph lauren, with a distinct motif that cohesively brings every piece together.

“I just love the 1950’s style. The clothes, the music, the hair, everything! The cuts were so flattering and also sexy without showing a lot of skin,” says the designer. “I think I took more of a risk with this collection with the prints and cuts.” The SS 2010 collection mainly uses cotton fabric with pastel colors, leopard and berry prints. The German designer recruited Caroline B. from Most Wanted Models to model in the campaign, and boasts 30 pieces that will range from sizes XS-L.

“I think by having a boutique I see first hand what people want and what looks good on them. So I keep that in mind with every piece I design. I am always inspired by everything. I could be putting out a collection every 2 weeks,Ralph lauren polo,” Erika states. “I don’t look at what other designers are doing. I don’t look at what’s in style. I do my own thing and get inspired by everyday life.”

Born in Giessen, Germany in 1984, Erika has always had an interest in design. Based in the fashion centre of Milan, the consultancy is run by Carmen Rimoldi and Sergio Belloni, both of whom have had many experience of working with the various sectors of the leather industry on a worldwide basis.

Bianco & White first appeared on the fashion scene when it was founded by Carmen and Sergio in July 2000.

Carmen is a fashion, design and scene-designer graduate from NABAand an inventor of exclusive graphic images. Among her current projects are a range of specially branded shoes and bags.

The business community is becoming increasingly interested in sustainable innovation and social responsibility. The focal point of the contest is innovation and sustainable design created by young and talented designers from Danish Design schools. Danish Design Centre,kids ralph lauren, the cosmetic companies Aveda and Origins, and the model agency Unique Models have chosen to support this exclusive fashionshow held during the Climate Change Conference.

Why create sustainable design?
Everyone buys clothes. Aveda’s and Origins’ profiles are completely mission aligned with the concept of Innovating Sustainable Fashion. Both companies are based on firm foundations, which put great emphasis on environmental protection and social responsibility. They work actively with CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) that is reflected in the companies environmental activities and the production process.

The fashion show
The fashion show is arranged by Center for Responsible Design in cooperation with CPH Vision/Terminal-2 and Designers’ Nest. 20 concepts will be presented on the catwalk on December 2nd. Unique Models, which is the largest model agency in Denmark, has agreed to provide models for the show and thereby support the project.After the show the nominated designs will be exhibited at Danish Design Center.
